What
sizes are available?
All potential configurations are available, including rectangles,
circles and ovals, plus multiple labels to form sets. Labels
can be supplied on rolls, pinfed, perforated, fanfolded and
supplied in sheet format.
What kind of label materials do you use?
We offer a variety of synthetic facestocks, including polypropylene
and polyester. These films offer improved dimensional stability,
strength, cleanliness and outgassing properties as compared
to polyolefin and other synthetic films. We offer a variety
of improved release liner constructions.
How about adhesive?
We offer a variety of adhesive constructions that exceed the
demanding needs of the semiconductor and disk drive industries.
What about chemical properties?
Facestocks are inert to most acids, gases and salts, and are
as strong wet as dry. They are dimensionally stable between
0% and 100% relative humidity at constant temperatures.
Temperature ranges?
Service temperature range is -40º to 250ºF. Custom
materials are available for severe temperature applications.
What kind of printing can be done by the customer?
A variety of stock material surfaces are available for thermal
transfer, direct thermal, dot matrix, ink jet, laser and cleanroom
pens.
How about packaging?
CleanMark® labels are offered with several choices of
packaging depending upon the degree of cleanliness required.
Our highest level of clean labels are ultrasonically cleaned,
both top and back surfaces and packaged in a Certified ISO
Class 4 cleanroom. CleanMark® labels may be supplied on
3-inch ID synthetic cores and double bagged in Certified Silicone
Free MDPE Nitrogen Purged bags. Roll or package size is customer
specified.
What sizes are "standard"?
All of our labels are custom to a specific customer's specification.
How much lead-time is required?
Lead-time for most parts is between 8 to 10 working days.
Do your labels contain silicone?
There is no silicone in either our facestock or adhesive.
We also have three different silicone-free liners from which
to choose.
What types of inks do you use?
We use water-based acrylic ink created for flexographic presses.
We also have silicone-free inks available.
Do you have any chemical data available for your
labels?
Our main products have GC/MS outgassing test results available
on each respective data sheet.
What is a "class 10" label?
A "class 10" label is a label that has gone through
the CleanMark® cleaning process for particle removal.
In addition they have been produced from clean materials (i.e.
synthetic, not paper, liners, and clean facestocks). There
are several different levels of cleanliness available depending
upon your requirements.
What is the shelf life of your adhesives?
Generally adhesives have a shelf-life of 18 to 24 months.
How many labels come on a roll?
The quantity of labels contained on a roll is dependent
on the size of the label and the specific application. The
customer usually specifies the quantity. |
